South Geely offers coil handling and precision high speed heavy gauge slitting and recoiling on a wide inventory of coil products up to 72 inches wide including Hot Roll, Galvanized, Galvannealed, Cold Roll and Coated Products. We also can process your custom slit coil through our leveling line to provide finished cut-to-length steel at the sizes you need.

Capabilities

72″ Braner slitting line capabilities

• 50,000 lb. inbound and outbound coil capacity      (HR, HRPO, CR, Coated)

• Provides a 24″ inside diameter and up to a 72″ maximum outside diameter

• Features a free-loop, turret head slitting system,

• with a tension stand that allows us to slit a constant 450 feet per minute reducing camber,

• wavy edges, resulting in a high quality, uniform slit product

• Slits 0.075″ through 0.500″      (<0.075″ inquire)

• Width: Entry 10″ – 75″ / Exit 4″ – 72″

• OD: Entry 72″ max / Exit 72″ max

• ID: Entry 20″-32″ / Exit 24″
